STUDY INFORMATION

SWRD courses are offered yearly at the Department of Irrigation and Hydraulics of Cairo University. It is divided into two semesters, fifteen weeks each. The semester break lasts USUALLY for three weeks. One week of the break is devoted to the study tour. The program accepts full time students (ONLY). Teaching comprises formal lectures, group discussions, guided research and hands-on computer exercises. The study tour to major water resources projects constitutes an important part of the course work. English is the language of instruction and communication.
